We are thrilled to announce that our biennial neighborhood tradition continues with the twelfth Rockridge Kitchen Tour, being held on Sunday, September 24, from 12:30 – 5:30 pm. This self-guided tour welcomes guests into nine exquisite kitchens in Oakland’s popular Rockridge neighborhood in a wide variety of design styles and living spaces.  Explore the “Roll-up House” with its clever tromp l’oeille architecture, and tour the main rooms of the Guy Hyde Chick house, designed a century ago by Bernard Maybeck and still fresh today.

With the very latest in kitchen design, the Rockridge Kitchen Tour features innovative uses of new and traditional materials, interesting floor plans, amazing transformations of larger spaces and creative solutions for smaller kitchens.  Come see how the owners, designers, architects, and contractors have successfully collaborated to create incredible kitchens ranging in style from classic Craftsman to contemporary.
